We have APPROVAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stocklands emailed through late this afternoon. We have approval.
So with minimal delay they can start tomorrow. Just need to see if the excavator is available.Oh and the wet weather stays away.
If not it will be as soon as he can.

Small change was a small roof over the top lounge room windows, and the material around those windows to be a choice of  cladding or similar. (PLEASE GIVE ME ANY IDEAS AS I REALLY DONT LIKE THE CLADDING

They did something to the roof line as well. it now slopes backwards for better drainage.

Don't think i am in-love with this house. I will only hope time will tell. If not i will just have to build again.
I would love to know what colours you all think i should use. As i have NO idea. and what colour window frames. ( i sometimes see a really shiny black front door and mainly a white house, large chandelier in the entry, maybe black window frames. )
lol, you are all probably cringing now. haha.

We are having white tiles throughout, no timber floors. Jason is so against timber floors. But i may be able to sway him if i really want them, but i am not sure if i do. Jason like all the earthy tones and he likes the sandstone too. but i feel it is to modern for the earthy look. HELP HELP HELP

As you can see i have no vision about me. i need to see it done first......so i am really doing it alone as we are using a private builder and dont have access to an interior designer unless of course i pay one.

Please give me something, anything.......

Pen

PS " Christmas Tree is up. I always wait till the 1st December. Not before and not after, has to be the 1st"

  1. Yay! All through council, I think your biggest hurdle is over!

Don't stress on your selections, it will all come together, you (with Jason) have to decide what YOU really want.

If you can only see it once it is done, start a scrapbook of your must haves! These help a lot of my clients who can't see the finished product.

What you eventually end up with is a book full of all the ideas (rooms, exterior and gardens/pool) of your entire home, colours, styles, finishes = your selections! Makes it easier for your builder to see your wants too.

My tree will go up late this year, around the 16th I hope! I'm a 1st of December girl too.

I am waiting with baited breath for the 8 sleeps (give you a days grace to post them lol) until we see the Mum's dance photos and/or video!!!

    Have a great day.

  2. Oh, Pen, so pleased that you've had such a speedy resolution!

I agree with Jode's suggestion about putting together a scrapbook. To tie in with this idea, really consider how and what you are going to use each room for and then we can help you tie their themes/uses in and determine what colours/textures/fixtures are best for each space, whilst still maintaining commonality throughout the home.

    Exciiiiiiting!

Have you ever had white tiles? I've stayed in places with them and they drive me absolutely nuts. Every. Little. Thing. Shows. Up.
