We have just been upgraded to a mini cyclone with 500mm of rain expected for Brisbane and GC with flooding. Its already created 6 tornadoes since moving south of Burnett Heads from 6pm last night.
Happy to report we have no leaks and all water run off is going in the correct locations.
So a safe high and dry house for us at this time. We could end up being a water front property soon.
| No beautiful view of the Gold Coast today. |
If only the roof was put on last week.
With all the rain we are having it will need to be completely dry before they begin roof work again... (big sigh)
Maybe i might go drown my sorrows in the cellar ;)

Pen :)
Was hot here on the Central Coast yesterday but I think the tail end of QLD weather with us today; mind you some rain here is welcome! Am very impressed with your cellar Pen....very swish! We are planning a wee cellar too, more a cupboard really, under the pool....long way to go but I'll keep these images of your cellar as inspiration. Looks great...and is stocked! Hoorah! x KL

ReplyDeleteGorgeous cellar Pen - the house is gorgeous. I am glad you are up high on that hill and not experiencing any leaks or flooding ... poor QLD. I am glued to the TV. It is sad x
