Back to school

I wish every day was like the first day back at school.
The boys set their alarms for 6.30am and shock horror they actually got up. Gaby goes back tomorrow, so i let her enjoy her last sleep in.
Showered, dressed and ready for breakfast by 7am.
Then nagging ME to get ready to take them to school.
So in the car by 7.45am and i was at school by 7.55am.
Pouring rain so i did the DUMP & RUN.....before all the crazy Prep mothers arrived...

Jack gets so over me taking photos..

Have a good day boys!

Oh well not the best day to go back to school but for me i will enjoy a quiet house.

HOUSE PROGRESS

NOT!!!!!!!!!
Rain is stopping anything from happening as it needs to be bone dry for the builder to water proof so they can begin the frame work.....
and that doesn't look like it will be happening for at least a week or two
so in the mean time we still go up every now and again...

We had some friends up on holidays from inter state and who follow my blog so wanted to have a look.

Gaby & Makayla have known each other since birth and have kept in touch since we moved.
Gaby is 4 months OLDER than Makayla. (NB: Gaby standing next to the dog)

We took the dog up for the first time. Not that i let Gaby put her down as it was so muddy.

So while this rain is around i am trying to make decisions on tiles, wall colours, render colours, window frame colours, benchtops, etc....... i am so bad at making a final decision that i think i need others just to make the decisions for me.....A BAD HABBIT I HAVE HAD FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found Timber look aluminum windows and doors but they are even more pricier than the real timber ones. So i guess i wont be having them either. BUT GEE they are nice......

  1. I can't believe the faux-timber was more expensive than the real deal!?!

I hope the boys enjoyed their first day, in spite of the rain. I was a crazy Prep Mum today, so I had to suck up the damn rain and go in!! Not to mention help the seven year old with all her books. It was a great morning, but I feel sorry for the kids and teachers being stuck inside ALL day!

As for your selections - isn't that what the blog is for?! Haha!

  2. Hey Pen,

Jack sounds like my boys, with the photo taking and hide their faces like they are celebrities or something! lol Saying "I don't want to be on the blog!"

Raining like mad up here too! Possible flooding this week! That'll make a good blog post! lol

Enjoy your quite days with the kids back at school. I'm supposed to be doing bookwork and find myself popping over to blogs, taking a peek and leaving comments, hence, not working!

    Have a good day.
