Christmas Day started at 5am with our youngest James coming in to our room and telling us Santa had been. He is 9 and still believes in Santa however i think this will be our last year as he did say later on in the day that Santa buys the presents and we write on them..... I never tell the kids, i still say to my 14 & 12 year old "if you don't believe you don't receive".....they soon work it out.
So at 5am i told him to sit and look at the presents as i wasn't getting up till 6am....cruel i know but it was funny listening to him try and guess what was inside them all.
By 6am we were all up and showered and the fun began.

Then it was NEW YEAR'S EVE - SLAB PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
| With some friends we enjoyed the night drinking red wine and eating way to much crackers and dip waiting for a fantastic fireworks display... |
| We got Broadbeach at 8pm, Southport at 830pm and Paradise Points at 9pm. |
| Waiting for the fireworks display |
| Bit of a let down.....Couldnt seem much from our place..... |
So at 930pm we headed home, we grabbed some pizzas and stopped by Robina Town Centre to see their fireworks at 10pm.
