NOT
At 3:14am this morning we all woke to the fire alarm. Kids jumped out of bed and rushed to the door. I fussed around to work out what to wear ie: stay in my nighty (yes i wear a nighty) or quickly throw on shorts and a top. The dog was crying as i am sure the high pitch sounds we not good for her.
Husband layed in bed thinking it was my phone alarm and was about to yell at me for having it up so loud.
I went out on the the balcony and yelled out to the fireman if we needed to evacuate and he answered back NO.
WTF
So back to bed and all i kept thinking of, was i have to get up in an hour or so. I am sure as soon as i got back to sleep my alarm went off at 4:50am and my day began...
Of course the kids found it hard to wake up. We all still managed to be out the door by 7.45am.
School drop off done and we headed straight up to the block to see if the water proof guy was there.
and
YES they were.
They said it would take 2 days to complete. Fingers are crossed again that the rain holds off.
Happy days,

OMG! I would NOT have got the child to school here. And my hubby would've reacted the same way! LOL! Glad to hear of something positive in your day. Waterproofing. Yee Ha!

Nothing worse than being woken up with a fright!
ReplyDeleteGlad there wasn't a real fire though.
Sorry I am sooo behind on my catch ups.
Reading away madly, I'm glad that the water proofing is beginning, hope the rain holds off?
