Today ticket sales for "One Direction" were available from 9am. Who the hell is One Direction?,  i hear you ask. If you have teenage girls you should know. If you have never heard of them, they are a boy band from the UK.

As we have moved into Broadbeach i was up at 430am and i walked in the dark to the Gold Coast Convention Centre to sit at the Ticketek Box Office. I was the first to arrive.

Our place is the furthest high rise (is that how you even say that sentence?)

I sat there thinking "what the hell am i doing? this is crazy"
By 530am another girl arrived then 6am another and then another. By the time 9am came and the Box office opened there was many many more.
They opened only 2 of the 3 windows. So of course i got the lady who was the slowest and the other window had given out two lots of 4 tickets, by the time my lady had got me 2 lots of 2 tickets.
In the end I GOT TICKETS. Not the best seats but seats. It is crazy how the system works as being first in line means not much, as the people who got tickets after me got better placed seating. Ummmm
Anyway all i know is, i have one happy 14 year old and i will be going to bed early tonight.

My job today was a complete success.
