Here is Jack kicking a goal on Saturday
Jack had a great weekend of football. He plays under12s div 2 for Burleigh Bears and has never enjoyed the game as much as he is this year. With a great bunch of boys who are all becoming great mates. It is so lovely to watch them all encourage each other. I am hoping this team can stay as it is for a few more years yet. Junior football is so political (up here, anyway)
On Saturday Jack scored 4 trys and 1 goal. They won 62 - 0. He is a great kicker never misses but they are only allowed to kick once in a game unless the whole team has had a kick. Which almost happened in that game.
On Monday (Labor Day) he also played another game of footy. It was a catch up game from the weekend before that was a washout, as here in QLD the council close the grounds if it has slightly rained. In the country where i am from you play footy in the rain & enjoy getting all muddy. ( Bunch of sheilas up here.)
Anyway they won that game 32 - 12 against the team that is 3rd place on the ladder.
Jack's team is on top of the ladder having played 5 games with 5 wins & a bye still up their sleeve. Gosh i am totally the footy mum.
He plays half back No7 and lives, sleeps and would shower with his footy if i let him. Drives me MAD. I can't stand a ball bouncing around the house. I suppose i am lucky he isn't stuck to the Play Station (like his younger brother is ATM)
Jack HATES school work. In his words when it comes to assignments
"It's ok mum, it's due TOMORROW"
BLOODY HELL - if he only took his football attitude into school he would be a straight A student for sure.

Never will he smile for the camera.
Always the clown when around his mates
Not sure if Jack has ever actually finished reading a book, but he has started reading HUNGER GAMES which he hasn't put down.
BUT
I just love my boy Jack, he kisses me good night every night. With a "love ya mum"and it is all worth it. I wouldn't change one thing about him.

The poor old middle child, a lovely post Pen, I'm sure he'll love it, or maybe not if you can't get a smile out of him for any photos! lol I don't think you are alone in the asking 20 times thing! I think that is just a boy thing, maybe just a kid thing? They are awesome footy scores and I'm sure Jack is pretty pleased with himself that he helps score many of them! Enjoy your Mother's Day, I hope you get spoilt? x Jode
